About the Opportunity
Cleared are supporting a Federal Government department seeking an experienced ICT Project Officer to join a high-performing project delivery team in Canberra.
Working closely with Project Managers, delivery teams, and key stakeholders, you will play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of ICT initiatives through project coordination, governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and administrative support.
This opportunity is well suited to a Project Officer looking to further develop their project delivery capability within a complex and secure ICT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the delivery of ICT projects and initiatives
• Coordinate project activities including planning, scheduling, resource tracking, cost monitoring, and status reporting
• Assist with procurement and vendor engagement activities
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, meeting minutes, and governance artefacts
• Maintain accurate project records, registers, and documentation repositories
• Prepare project communications, stakeholder updates, and reporting packs
• Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and governance forums, ensuring actions and outcomes are captured and tracked
• Support the identification, management, and escalation of project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices and processes

What You'll Bring

• 2–5 years' experience in a Project Officer, Project Coordinator, PMO, or similar project delivery role
• Experience supporting ICT projects within government or enterprise environments
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience preparing project documentation, reporting, and governance artefacts
• Familiarity with project management frameworks such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, or similar methodologies
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools

Desirable Qualifications

• PRINCE2 Foundation
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Practitioner (CPPP)
• Other project management or PMO-related certifications
